Tips and Advice from Past Students

"Biomolecules and Cells is a comprehensive introduction to human, animal and plant biology. The sheer volume of information presented can be overwhelming, particularly for those who have not studied biology during years 11 and 12. Furthermore, the pace at which content is delivered requires you to take a proactive approach to keeping pace with lectures, learning outcomes, and the materials covered in labs and workshops.

When engaged in study sessions, the learning outcomes serve as great benchmarks in ensuring you grasp the key points across various topics and sub-topics. You don't need to write paragraph/s for each learning outcome, one or two sentences or a couple of dot points should suffice.

Lecturers also utilise diagrams to illustrate diverse biological systems and processes, and enhancing comprehension may be achieved by annotating these diagrams. This visual aid not only aids in understanding but is also a great study technique for the end-of-semester exam."
