We are partnering with Evidence Action at the 2024 Biomedicine Charity Ball! As a club whose main demographic, you guys, are young people in the field of healthcare and the biomedical sciences, we wanted our charity of choice for this year’s ball to be one that focuses on solving health problems in order to give young people in less fortunate positions the opportunity to reach their full potential. For the past 10 years, Evidence Action has pioneered evidence-based, cost-effective health interventions that have impacted the lives of more than 515 million people in Asia and Africa. From providing deworming treatments to help children stay in school and improve their future, to providing chlorination for drinking water to prevent the spread of deadly illnesses, these innovative interventions save and improve lives.
